About us
Undivided Attention is a response to the hardships I experienced when undergoing supervision post-graduation. Having more than my fair share of supervisors who set me up for success, to achieve my goals, and to create great client experiences, I feel qualified and well suited to guide other aspiring ATR therapists to their truest path as practitioners.
My mission with Undivided Attention is to create a supervision experience that acts as both a guidebook for the foundations of client work and a supportive space to bridge the professional development gaps that exist between being a master’s level student and a full-time professional.
your supervisor
I am Gillian, a registered art therapist (ATR) specializing in spirituality, grief, and religious trauma.
I have a Master’s degree in art therapy and counseling from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
What to expect:
1:1 Connection
Art Centered Sessions
Professional Development Prioritized
Empowerment
Building confidence in new professionals is one of the key focuses of Undivided Attention, so we developed a 1-year program focused on building the professional self to be resilient when client work is challenging.
Resource Library
There’s a lot to be said and reminded of when you’re first starting out - and beyond. The resource library gives you the opportunity to sit with ideas and concepts longer and grow more curious about how you work with clients and who you want to be as a creative mental health professional.
Having more than one supervisor during my time as a provisionally credentialed art therapist was meaningful and momentous for who I am today professionally; that’s why this program grants only 50 of the 100 required supervision hours for your ATR.
Just as we have many teachers who shape us as children, I believe we should benefit from more than one perspective to become well-rounded credentialed therapists.
want to work with me?
When the art therapist is created, the person behind the therapist can sometimes be lost. Many experience a deep transformation as they are molded to be competent, observant, and compassionate professionals in service to the minds of others.
Supervision with me is a one-year commitment to your professional development and pursuit of your ATR.
